Coronavirus is unfortunately still a part of our everyday lives worldwide. We have started to see that some countries are slowly progressing in the fight against the Coronavirus. Hopefully, we will soon see improvements worldwide. Please find below the latest news and status for Martin Bencher Group.
Just like many other companies, all Martin Bencher employees have been working from home for several weeks now. Some of our offices will slowly start to reopen in the coming weeks, of course under guidelines and regulations of local governments and internal Martin Bencher rules.
In Denmark, we will from this week, Wednesday May 20, allow all employees to work from our offices again. This applies for our Head Office, the Danish department, and the Wind department in Aarhus as well as the Airfreight department in Copenhagen.
We of course still take all necessary precautions. The offices are equipped with hand sanitizer, masks, and disposable gloves. The offices are split into safe zones and staffing plans are updated daily to ensure that we know who has been interacting with each other. This allows us to isolate certain employees should there be a confirmed case
Martin Bencher is doing the utmost to ensure the best possible support for our customers, partners, and the communities in which we operate in a socially responsible way. We are fully committed to providing the highest care possible – to employees, customers and all our stakeholders.
All international travelling is still banned until the situation stabilises. If local travelling is required to meet specific requirements, it must be approved by management.
In order to constantly up our employee with the highest level of information and, we regularly distribute online newsletters with recommendations of safe behaviour. Country managers implement the recommendations locally in line with the guidelines from the local authorities.
Daily reporting to management by the crisis management team ensures the health, safety and security status of all offices and employees is monitored. By doing so, we have at all times an overview of the situation which makes it possible to implement corrective actions, if needed.
At Martin Bencher we are aware that the situation can quickly change. Our crisis management team has committed itself to follow the situation closely – and we will with all efforts do the absolute outmost to protect employees and stakeholders.
We hope that the rest of our offices also soon follow in being able to be fully operational. It’s important for us to emphasize that all Martin Bencher offices are still fully operational, and every employee can be contacted by email, phone, teams, etc.
